Model Expectations

Thank you for considering becoming a model for our Community Clinic. Your participation is essential in helping our students gain hands-on experience under the supervision of experienced faculty.

To ensure a successful experience for both you and our students, please review the following:

  • Monthly Commitment: Be available for two hours on one day per month for ten months.

  • Intensive Commitment: Be available for two hours each day for ten consecutive days.

  • Please arrive on time for all scheduled sessions and notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.

  • Be in generally good health and able to lie comfortably on a treatment table for up to two hours.
  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or recent surgeries that might affect your ability to participate in sessions.

  • Be open to receiving hands-on bodywork and provide honest, constructive feedback when requested.
  • Commit to following through with the entire program—whether it’s the monthly or intensive option—to support the continuity of the student’s learning process.

  • Wear appropriate clothing for sessions, such as comfortable undergarments or a swimsuit, as the work requires access to various parts of the body.
  • Be prepared to stand for assessment in this outfit.

  • Maintain a respectful and collaborative attitude with students and faculty.
  • Share any discomfort or concerns during the session so adjustments can be made as needed.

  • Hydrate and avoid heavy meals before your session.
  • Allow time after the session to rest and integrate the work, as Structural Integration can be a deep and transformative experience.

  • Understand that this is a learning environment and sessions may involve observation and constructive feedback from supervising faculty.
  • Respect the confidentiality of the training process and the work being done.

By agreeing to these expectations, you’ll play a key role in shaping the skills and confidence of new Structural Integration practitioners. We deeply value your contribution to this learning experience.
