Faculty

 Steve Bulger has been a passionate, enthusiastic, empathetic SI Practitioner and Trainer since 1989. Steve has a successful practice in San Diego, CA.

Steve was trained by Joseph Heller and taught in the Hellerwork Trainings for 17 years, quickly advancing to Senior Faculty.

During that time, Steve opened, co-directed and taught in two Hellerwork Trainings in San Diego from 2000 to 2004. In 2009, he became a co-founder of The New School of Structural Integration in Laguna Beach, CA where he taught in 15 trainings. 

After these many years of teaching Structural Integration, Steve continues to be inspired by the enthusiasm, curiosity and dedication of new students.

Steve is respectful, compassionate, non-judgmental, positive, spiritual and has a great sense of humor. He is truly one of the “old hands” still doing this work. 

Liz Stewart is a board-certified, advanced Rolfing® Structural Integration practitioner and educator based in Boulder, CO. 

She trained in 1991-1992 with The Guild For Structural Integration in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Boulder, Colorado with direct students of Ida Rolf, Ph.D.   

Currently, Liz has a thriving practice in Boulder, CO. She runs a 501c(3) non-profit called Postures for Peace which brings Structural Integration and attachment education to areas throughout the world, and she has launched a mentoring program for students, practitioners, and educators within the Structural Integration community so that there is support at every level.

Liz's approach is engaging, relational, connective, and supportive, much like the fascial network that holds our bodies together. Her understanding of tensional forces, integration, and connection creates a more joyous and creative working relationship.

  Jay Bartley is a Certified Advanced Rolfer®, Rolf Movement® Practitioner and Certified Realization Process Teacher. He is the owner of Bartley Rolfing® Structural Integration, located in Silverlake, CA. 

He has trained at The New School of Structural Integration, The Dr. Ida Rolf Institute, The Realization Process (Meditation, Embodiment and Healing Ground), The Hakomi Institute, National

Holistic Institute, The Institute of Pyscho-Structural Balancing, Upledger Institute, and Equinox.

Jay combines structural bodywork, movement, somatic psychology, meditation, and biomechanics in all of his sessions. 

He is passionate about sharing the potential we all have to live a more embodied and full life.

  Heather Valentine is a Board Certified Structural Integration Practitioner and has maintained a thriving practice in South Lake Tahoe, CA since 2011.   

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Purdue University and worked as a wildlife biologist for over a decade before starting a second career as an SI practitioner.  

She enjoys helping clients find better awareness, balance, and fluidity in their bodies. She especially loves finding tools for clients that they can use daily in their lives to find and maintain better movement habits.
